Project Description

ATPL

Airline Transport Pilot License

The Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is obtained by attending a modular course that provides a complete knowledge of the theory as well as the piloting skills and legal titles, which are necessary to perform the career of airline pilot.

The ATPL modular course consists of various theoretical and practical modules. The student will have the opportunity to complete all the necessary steps within the ATO (Approved Training Organization) and obtain the respective licenses and ratings under the supervision of the best professionals in the sector.

Professional Aviation puts safety first. For this reason the flight school is exclusively equipped with the most modern aircraft, all bought new, all maintained exclusively by our maintenance center and all equipped with the most modern safety devices. Just think that our oldest aircraft is a 2011 model. No other Italian reality can boast this primacy.

New, modern and safe aircraft to teach students in the best environment, with the best tools and top-notch technologies.

Modules necessary to become an airline pilot

The modules to become an airline pilot are as follows:

  • PPL (Private Pilot License)
  • ATPL THEORY (Airline Transport Pilot License – theory)
  • HOURS BUILDING (building of hours)
  • NIGHT RATING (night flight qualification)
  • IR (Instrument Rating)
  • COMPLEX RATING (retractable gear and variable pitch propeller rating)
  • MEP and IR-ME (“Multi-Engine Piston” rating and transition from the IR to Multi-Engine)
  • CPL (Commercial Pilot License) + UPRT

Theory

Professional Aviation offers several solutions to meet the different needs of its students.

The theoretical part of the ATPL can be done both in the classroom (650 h) and through distance learning (90% at home and 10% in classroom).

Practical course

After completing the PPL on the P2008JC aircraft, the student will first perform the consolidation activity (Hours building) as Pilot in Command again on the P2008JC aircraft, then the IR (Instrument Rating) on the Cirrus SR20 aircraft, the Multi-Engine Piston and Complex (MEP/Complex) module on the P2006T aircraft and, finally, obtain the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) on the P2006T aircraft.

Cross-country national and international missions will also be carried out to complete a training that will not only lead to the achievement of the license, but also provide an important level of skills and experience.

The quality of our training is the key that distinguishes us from the “manufacturers” of licenses. Our main goal is to train capable and prepared pilots. Getting a license should only be an aftermath.

Requirements for enrolling in the course

  • Eight grade License (USA), Year 9 (UK, AUS, NZ);
  • 1st Class medical examination (before starting the flight activity, not necessary for enrolment);
  • Passing of the entrance test on basic notions of Mathematics, Physics and English;
  • The ATPL course is with a restricted number of attendants. To register, you must pass a selection.
